We are always looking for the most innovative new toys, games and a wide variety of other products that can pass our strict evaluation process, but Befuzzled has left us all intoxicated with an elixir of fun and frolic that is simply overwhelming!

What Exactly is Befuzzled?

Befuzzled is a card game where quick thinking, quick response, and hilarious activity are all common characteristics associated with the game. It is not like some card games that are often viewed as having less value than a single hair on the backside of an elephant.  Befuzzled has all of the key ingredients for the perfect recipe to really wet the taste buds of a buyer.

Befuzzled delivers an entertainment medium that gets the blood pumping and creates a ravenous hunger for more game play. Befuzzled is a riotous game of simplicity and just plain fun.

Additional Details & Perspectives

While it's great for some people who just want a cursory glance at what a New Inductee is all about, there are many others who have a greater appetite for more information. This section is titled "Additional Details & Perspectives". and will provide you with additional details an perspectives associated with the product or service being featured here.

Befuzzled Game Actions The visually appealing Befuzzled game box hosts three separate decks of playing cards.  There are 40 Flip cards, 24 unique Action cards and 8 "Shape" cards. Each of the "Shape" cards have their own unique shape which is matched with some of the"Flip" cards. Each of the Action cards are unique with their own character illustration and the title of the action associated with the character. See the examples at-left.

If all of this isn't enough, just imagine if you will, having to perform one of the Actions from the group of 8 Action cards being used in the game you are playing.  Care to "Make Bunny Ears", "Make Binoculars", "Flap Arms", or even "Bark"Befuzzled is a crazy concoction of strategy and skill development with a touch of outrageous comedy for good luck.

The Game Play - A Short Outline
  • There are 8 Action Cards put on the table face-up, however you choose to place them as in the image at right.

  • There is a shape card covering each Action card except for the bold black text.

  • The judge draws the first Flip Card, views it, then quickly flips it over for the players to see.

  • The first player to make the match and perform the correct action is the winner for that specific turn and is awarded the Flip Card.

  • Players take turns being the judge and awarding the flipped cards.  Turns continue until the Flip Card pile is exhausted at which point the round is over.

  • Each Flip Card is worth 1 point.  Players count how many Flip Cards they have won and that becomes their score for the round.

  • The matching of Shape Cards to Action Cards changes at the beginning of each round. The game is played for 5 rounds and the player with the highest total score is the winner.

Consumer Hands-On Evaluation

Nothing is more powerful than hands-on experience by a consumer with a product when it is under evaluation. Based upon that fact we put a number of products we currently are slated to evaluate at the mercy of consumers in a hands-on evaluation where anything goes. The information to follow will explore the responses from the participants in our spontaneous hands-on consumer evaluation of the products available for their review.

Befuzzled was an amazing success amongst a number of other products in one of our spontaneous hands-on evaluations recently held at a few public recreational facilities and the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, NV. 

By performing the consumer hands-on evaluation with a large variety of potential New Inductees, a more well defined and accurate evaluation of behavioral responses and overall appeal for each product with the consumers is achieved.

During our hands-on-evaluations at the Las Vegas Hilton, one of the guests at the hotel passing by brought it to our attention that he was celebrating his birthday in his suite and inquired if he could borrow a copy to use at the party.

After a brief discussion amongst our staff it was determined this would be an outstanding opportunity.  This would enable to demonstrate how with no influence from our staff, we could monitor and record how people respond with Befuzzled in a real-life party atmosphere.

Befuzzled proved its claim of a short learning curve all too well. Within moments the game participants were moving quickly to compete with each other in an effort to be the first player to make the shape match, perform the correct action to win that turn."

Upon completion of the game, the players were having even more laughs from recalling memories of how "Susie looked doing the binoculars" or "Jacklynn did the bunny ears", and of course we can't forget Ralph and his "getting carried away with the pirate sound."

The following day we continued with our consumer hands-on evaluations at other local recreational facilities, including a public park.  This provided us with additional feedback from a much wider range of participants being able to play Befuzzled, (families, teens, and a few seniors). The end results remained the same, people completely enthralled with playing Befuzzled!

After reviewing all notes, feedback forms, and videos from the all three events we hosted, Befuzzled captured the hearts of  everyone with so many people expressing their thanks for us for the opportunity to play such an incredible game. Befuzzled easily passed this segment of our evaluation.

Creative Agenda is undoubtedly a vital factor in the evaluation of a good quality game whether it be board, video, or card based.  The incredibly simple yet solid creative agenda that Befuzzled has, it inspires a person to create a narrative to win based upon desire, not skill comparison. 

To understand the full value of the Creative Agenda, the following information is a brief definition of what the Creative Agenda is. "The Creative Agenda of a player represents what the player hopes to achieve by way of exploration in their game experience"; in this case being applicable to Befuzzled.  

Befuzzled pulled a perfect score of [5] Stars in this evaluation category for CREATIVE AGENDA.

funQuotient™ was in no means lacking with Befuzzled. The experiences our staff had in the study of Befuzzled in this evaluation category were priceless! The prime factor that pulled Befuzzled to the top was the reciprocal balance of fun and skill development.  There was of course a constant shift of one more than the other yet the balance was still maintained.

Befuzzled has all of the right elements successfully and so intricately connected as in a symbiotic relationship to create the highest level of funQuotient™ that pulled it well above many of the other products in this week's final stage of evaluation. Befuzzled came strutting to the finish line with a perfect score of [5] Stars in this evaluation category for funQuotient™.

With Befuzzled the LEARNING CURVE was practically non-existent! In all instances of our evaluation where the Befuzzled was actually being used, the players were excited with how simple the familiarizing themselves with the game. Out of all 300+ evaluation criteria categories used in the evaluation of Befuzzled, this was one of the most prominent. 

Having a game designed with a short learning curve adds greater value to the game. It creates a stronger inspiration for players to play a series of games. not just one or two, holding that desire to win. Befuzzled came in the door with a barrel full of laughs and a perfect score of [5] Stars in this evaluation category for LEARNING CURVE.

MARKETABILITY: Rating Level - [5] an image of 4 gold  stars

Befuzzled proved it has all the proper attributes needed in MARKETABILITY. Befuzzled appeals to a generous range of age groups as well as being a hybrid product. Once a consumer get their first experience with Befuzzled, they will not only play the game again but will share their the delight of their experience with others again and again. So many vital elements Befuzzled holds that make its consideration for a perfect score in this evaluation category literally unquestionable.

There are so many points we could bring to your attention that make Befuzzled so well deserving but that would take up far more space to read than would really be considered acceptable. Befuzzled comes through in this evaluation category with a perfect score of [5] Stars in this category for MARKETABILITY.

SKILL IMPROVEMENT: Rating Level - [5] an image of 5 gold  stars

Befuzzled breaks the barriers like never before when it comes to SKILL DEVELOPMENT.  Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Cognitive, Social/Emotional and Language are but a small few of the many skills which Befuzzled contributes to further development with every game played for every player as well.  Being a Hybrid-Use game it is suitable for use use in both the consumer and education environments.

A rapid progressive rate of skill development and improvement for players of all ages is inevitable with repetitive play. It is more than obvious to see that Befuzzled makes a substantial contribution to skill development in this evaluation category.  Befuzzled screams to the finish with a perfect score of [5] Stars in this category for SKILL IMPROVEMENT.

VISUAL APPEAL: Rating Level - [4] an image of 4.5 gold  stars

Befuzzled provided a simple challenge for us to overcome in our evaluation for VISUAL APPEAL. The game box is well above average in visual appeal.  It will draw attention on a store shelf with the combination of a small footprint, portability, and of course visual appeal. 

Befuzzled is a game that wasn't designed to be flashy, over priced, and holding a short period of interest with the players.  Rather, it was designed to maintain an acceptable level of visual appeal while focusing upon the game play design.  The imagery on each card is easy to read and identify, yet just above average in clarity and visual appeal. Befuzzled in the gates with a final rating score of [4] Stars in this category for VISUAL APPEAL, missing a perfect score by a single digit.
